Our Business Model​

Prime Fresh operates multiple complementary business models to connect farms with diverse markets. Our strategies create a seamless flow of produce through the entire value chain:

  • Farm-to-Market: End-to-end procurement and distribution. We purchase directly from growers and handle complete market linkages across all sales segments. This model ensures farmers have assured buyers, and markets receive quality produce with minimal intermediaries.
  • Farm-to-APMC: Direct linkage with APMC mandis. We aggregate farm produce and bring it to regulated wholesale markets, simplifying auction processes and broadening market access for small farmers.
  • Farm-to-DC: Direct supply to Distribution Centers of modern retail, ecommerce and institutional clients. We manage timed shipments to client warehouses and our own DCs, enabling large-format chains to maintain fresh inventory.
  • Farm-to-Packhouse (Exports): Dedicated export channel. Produce is routed from farms to our export-grade packing centers for sorting, ripening and packing, then shipped internationally. This ensures high traceability and compliance for global markets.
  • Farm-to-Processing: Supplying food processors. We deliver farm produce directly to processing units (juicing, canning, freezing) on schedule. Pre-processing (washing, precooling) is done at origin so that manufacturers receive ready-to-use raw materials.
  • 3PL & Logistics: Third-party logistics solutions. At 6+ locations nationwide, we offer a portfolio of 21+ warehousing and transportation services (e.g. cold storage, inventory management, order fulfillment). Clients can outsource entire logistics to our network.
  • Omni-Channel Sales: Integrated multi-channel distribution. Prime Fresh caters to wholesale (APMC), retail, institutional, e-commerce and direct-to-consumer channels simultaneously. For example, we have launched our own B2C e-commerce platform (www.primefresh.in) and app, while continuing to serve B2B buyers. This omnichannel approach maximizes reach and ensures consumers have fresh produce availability through their preferred buying mode.

By leveraging these models in tandem, we create synergies across procurement, processing and sales. Each model reinforces the others, making Prime Fresh a versatile supplier in the fresh produce ecosystem.
