Founded in 2007, Prime Fresh Limited is headquartered in Ahmedabad and is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), India. The company is a leading post-harvest management enterprise focused on the fresh fruits and vegetables supply chain, serving multiple industry verticals both locally and globally.

Prime Fresh has established itself as a trusted player, mastering core activities from sourcing across diverse states of India to distributing fruits and vegetables through multiple platforms in domestic and international markets. Over the years, Prime has successfully built a robust network of farmers, aggregators, cold storages, packhouses, transportation services, and other supply chain partners to deliver a wide variety of fresh produce. The company directly and indirectly provides employment opportunities to more than 100,000 people across India.

With extensive experience since 2007, Prime Fresh specializes in sourcing, handling, sorting & grading, warehousing, ripening, storage, packaging, and distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables. Milestones

2007

Incorporated in Ahmedabad as Prime Customer Services Pvt. Ltd. Commenced pilot farm-to-door produce delivery via mobile vans and a small warehouse.

2008

Started with our second facility of 3PL services for Fruits & Vegetables and Dairy Frozen Category for Reliance Retail Started providing Training, HR Management and Manpower placement services to the corporate clients.

2009

Started services of hygienic packed food to the corporate in Ahmedabad in April & Started our bulk trading of fruits in APMC Ahmedabad September 2009.

2010

Started providing skilled manpower to the corporates & Started our first 3 PL services for INTAS Pharma in the packaging industry in the Pharmaceutical sector.

2011

Prime Fresh has successfully expanded its 3PL and warehousing services across multiple sectors, including the 4th 3PL facility in the Fruits & Vegetables and Dairy & Frozen category for Aditya Birla Retail in Mumbai, the 5th 3PL facility for Fruits & Vegetables for Reliance Retail in Pune, the first warehousing facility for the pharmaceutical industry with Intas Pharma in Ahmedabad, and the first warehousing facility for the FMCG industry with Waghbakri Tea in Ahmedabad.

2012

Prime Fresh introduced the first refrigerated mobile van for fruits and vegetables in Ahmedabad, established its first wholesale fruits and vegetables shop facility in Ahmedabad, set up the city’s first ripening chamber cum cold storage facility, and launched its first collection centre for fruits and vegetables at Pratij.

2013

The company launched its 6th 3PL facility for Fruits & Vegetables for Subji India in July and also began supplying fresh produce to food processing companies, marking its entry into the processing value chain.

2014

Prime Fresh entered into a tie-up with APMC Ahmedabad for their retail-based potato and onion distribution project, while also diversifying into manpower (payrolling) services in Ahmedabad by adding clients such as Corona and 20 Cubes.

2015

Prime Fresh entered into key corporate tie-ups for procurement, partnering with Reliance Jamnagar for mangoes, INI Farms for pomegranates, and Mahindra & PC Foods Pvt. Ltd. (Nashik) for imported fruits. The company also began operations as a C&F agent for BISLERI India Pvt. Ltd. across four major Gujarat locations — Ahmedabad, Surat, Baroda, and Rajkot. Expanding its global footprint, Prime Fresh started exports to the UAE in May 2015, supplying mangoes, onions, potatoes, and a wide range of other fruits and vegetables.

2016

Prime Fresh strengthened its corporate presence by starting operations with Reliance Retail Market in Pune and filed the Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) for listing its SME IPO on the BSE platform. During the year, the company was also registered in the Corporate Journal for its business profile. Operational expansion continued with new facilities at Lakhani in Gujarat and Jalna in Maharashtra. Additionally, Prime Fresh incorporated its wholly owned subsidiary, Florens Farming Private Limited, further consolidating its footprint in agribusiness.

2017

Prime Fresh achieved a major milestone by successfully getting listed on the BSE SME Platform. The company expanded its operations by starting a mango collection centre at Valsad and entered into farming through a joint project with a farmer from September 2017, strengthening its farm-level engagement.

2018

The company started pomegranate operations and partnered with Havmor to provide 3PL services. Prime Fresh also executed deemed exports of onions, marking another step in its global trade journey. During this year, SMERA upgraded the company’s ratings to MSE-1, the highest possible rating, while the farmer network was expanded to over 15,000+, reinforcing its strong procurement base.

2019

 

Prime Fresh expanded its collection centers to procure pomegranates and onions while tapping new export destinations such as the Netherlands for mangoes. The company onboarded marquee clients including Future Group, BigBasket, HAS Juice, Metro (Cash & Carry), and Capricon Food. Nashik operations were ramped up for grapes and tomatoes, and Vasant Masala was added as a new client in the services segment in Gujarat.

2020

 

 

The company obtained various certifications enabling the export of fruits and vegetables to Europe and began exporting grapes to the Netherlands. Prime Fresh received approvals from MCA, ROC, and BSE to change its name from Prime Customer Services Limited to Prime Fresh Limited. The company also expanded into B2C operations, strengthening last-mile delivery.

2021

Prime Fresh launched its B2C e-commerce website, started an imported fruits business, and began onion supplies to Udaan and Ninjacart. The company also started supplying fruits for Amazon’s Ahmedabad operations and undertook supply and packing of pomegranates and mangoes for Adani Fresh’s Farmpik brand in Ahmedabad. In addition, Prime Fresh began B2C packing under its own brand for Jiomart.

2022

The company set up a private pomegranate mandi at Dechu in Rajasthan and began supplying fruits and vegetables to e-commerce retail giants such as Swiggy, Zomato, Dunzo, and Zepto. Full-fledged onion supply chain facilities were launched at Pimpalner (Dhule district) and Satana (Nashik district). A new fruits and vegetables collection center was started at Chitegaon (Nashik district), while Mumbai operations were expanded with enhanced infrastructure, facilities, and manpower.

2023

Prime Fresh started distribution centers at Pune, Delhi, and Hyderabad, along with two additional facilities in Ahmedabad and Mumbai. The company began supplying fruits and vegetables to TATA Motors, Nestlé, Adani, BigBasket, MilkBasket, and HoReCa clients. The pomegranate collection center at Sangola (Maharashtra) was expanded, while two new 3PL operations were added at Bhiwandi and Taloja (Maharashtra) for Reliance Retail. Additional capacity was also created for fruits and vegetables procurement in Satana and other regions of Maharashtra.

2024

The company began new business associations with ITC Limited and Mother Dairy, opened collection centers at Aurangabad, Manchar, and Deola, and established a distribution center in Kolkata. The Pimpalner collection facility was expanded, and Prime Fresh Retail (I) Private Limited was incorporated as a wholly owned subsidiary. Prime Fresh also won an APEDA tender to operate, maintain, and manage the fully integrated agro packhouse at Naroda, Ahmedabad. In addition, it strengthened its retail footprint through a new business association with Reliance Retail in Surat.

2025

Prime Fresh started new distribution centers in Bengaluru and Lucknow. The company received in-principle approval of its Employee Stock Option Plan 2024 from BSE Limited and also approval for migration of its equity shares from the SME Board of BSE Limited to the Main Board. Prime Fresh was awarded certification for organic products supply chain development and execution, obtained a UP Mandi License, and successfully migrated its equity listing to the BSE Main Board.
