Oversee end-to-end accounting operations (GL, AR, AP, Banking, Reconciliations).
Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books of accounts.
Monitor accurate booking of purchase invoices including quality rejections, weight losses, spoilage, and wastage.
Ensure inventory accounting, including real-time tracking of stock movements (warehouses, packhouses, in-transit).
Generate and analyse daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports for management.
Monitor daily cash flows and optimize fund allocation.
Oversee payment cycles to farmers, aggregators, logistics providers.
Liaise with banks for working capital arrangements.
Drive operational efficiencies through accounting controls (e.g., loss audits, vendor Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS, professional tax, PF/ESIC, and other compliances.
Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors for smooth audits.
Lead and mentor a team of accountants across multiple locations.
Ensure cross-location uniformity in accounting practices.
Work closely with procurement, sales, and operations teams to improve profitability.
Actively participate in pricing decisions, credit control, and vendor negotiations.
